Resource Mine Management’s team consists of mining professionals who have extensive experience at the General Manager and Manager level overseeing Mining Operations, Maintenance, Processing, Production, group wide Asset Management, Acquisition, and Investment.
The team is also experienced with significant financial responsibility covering P&L, Budgeting, Cost Control, Procurement, Project Management and Contract Management for leading mining companies.
Stephen Broad – Managing Consultant / Director
With 30 years working in the mining industry Stephen is an experienced General Manager overseeing Mining Operations, Processing, Production, Asset Management, Acquisition, and Investment. Has had significant financial responsibility covering P&L, Budgeting, Cost Control and Contract Management at Group and Site level across Australia for leading companies whilst ensuring overall safety, performance, and compliance of smooth day to day operations.
Experienced in the design and implementation of overall business strategies and objectives by leading, motivating, developing, inspiring, and encouraging workgroups. Consistently managing operational risks, improving profitability, and maximising return on asset investments. Rich experience in coordinating all aspects of mine operations, including Production, Commissioning, Cost, Business Improvement, Asset Management, Health Safety and Environment.
Has expertise in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and has consistently demonstrated success managing construction, de bottlenecking, business improvement initiatives and ongoing management of operations.
Post Graduate Engineering Academic with Central Queensland University, lecturing the Graduate Diploma in Asset Management Leadership Course.
Experienced and qualified with EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) from Sydney University, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master of Maintenance Management from Central Queensland University, Site Senior Executive Notice BOE-SSE and Engineering Tradesperson qualifications.
Trent Knack – Lead Consultant / Associate Director
With 25 years’ experience in the mining industry Trent is a qualified and experienced results-driven executive. Roles have encompassed senior and statutory positions across Operations and Maintenance Management. Respected and visionary leader with strong EQ, who demonstrates empathy, leads by example and builds collaborative and inclusive cultures.
Strong strategic management capabilities with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to develop and drive innovative solutions which enhance business outcomes.
Demonstrated aptitude for identifying opportunities and planning, developing and executing business and operational plans which ensure businesses run to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Highly developed communication and influencing skills with a proven track record in driving the development and execution of key business strategies and leading cultural change.
Values-based with demonstrated integrity, respect, commitment, accountability and positivity. Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities to ensure that success is delivered.
Experienced and qualified with graduate qualifications in Maintenance Management from CQU, Diploma Project Management, Site Senior Executive Notice BOE-SSE and Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering (Diesel Fitter).
